Don't tell anybody but I opened up the Clipper Creek box to read the diagnostic lights and the Ground Fault light was lit. So phooey on the wiring theory.

I am thinking there is a moisture problem or something in the car somewhere. I checked voltage the last time this happened (not the red light but the car stopped blinking) and Jim McLhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04514394481037410280noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787729521565861656.post-59725428927217231742009-11-04T16:41:53.637-05:002009-11-04T16:41:53.637-05:00Mike, I was having problems similar to this in the...Mike, I was having problems similar to this in the summer on really hot days when there was a high electric demand. The box was tripping and going into protection mode (red light) but then starting back up 5 minutes later. A couple times it just kept tripping and wouldn't charge at all. I found that I could charge 110v during that time because it uses so much less electric. I wonder if you Tom Moloughneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00302557992187975325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787729521565861656.post-87468738000874485362009-11-04T15:41:27.981-05:002009-11-04T15:41:27.981-05:00Hey, Mike. If you're in an older house or even an older neighborhood, there may not be a whole lot you can do about it.

I guess maybe one thing to try is when you plug it in and get the charging fault - leave it alone and plugged in andUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00195326919752079015noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2787729521565861656.post-2623789050182219042009-11-04T09:58:18.556-05:002009-11-04T09:58:18.556-05:00Hi Michael - what is the AMP service to your house...Hi Michael - what is the AMP service to your house? 100, 150 or 200? I'm just wondering if that could play a part. When I was on the 110 and had mucho stuff on it was not good (I have 200 to the house) since the 110 shares a circuit. So far on the 220 I'm good even with other major appliances running. Good luck and hope we see you this Sunday to discuss further.

Chris #402Chrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11617346023328886620noreply@blogger.com
